I&rsquo;m no doctor or shrink but I&rsquo;ve fucked up a relationship or two. I screwed up a 24-year marriage with self-destructive and negative behavior. What&rsquo;s my excuse for all of this? Not a single thing I can come up with that would justify what I had done. But, I learned immensely from it. With those lessons I&rsquo;ve learned come these little gems of advice. So listen up before it costs you what it cost me. First off I am not an advocate of striking a woman. No matter how much anger I&rsquo;ve had, I&rsquo;ve never laid a hand on a woman. My ex-wife would say &ldquo;you can be mad that it&rsquo;s broken or happy that it&rsquo;s broken, either way it&rsquo;s broken&rdquo;. I&rsquo;m sure not happy it&rsquo;s broken, but I get the gist of it. Smart woman, but I would have the tendency to be mad first anyway. Human nature I guess. But good news is you can change that. I came across a quote from a guy named Bob Marley. As I happen to be writing this on 4-20-2020. I felt it was fitting to share. Read it carefully and thoroughly more than once if need be. It&rsquo;s some of the deepest wisdom I&rsquo;ve read in a very long time that hits the nail on the head and it applies to both men and women.
