Globally, Ford is investing more than $11bn (approx. £8.45bn) to electrify its vehicles. Ford customers in Europe will be able to choose from 18 electrified vehicles by the end of 2021, up from 14 by the end of this year, ranging from mild hybrid, full hybrid, plug-in hybrid and full electric models.
Although not Ford’s first EV, the American brand has taken the unexpected decision to reinvent one of its most iconic sub-brands: the Ford Mustang.
Typically, renowned as a V8-powered muscle car the Mustang has been transformed into a battery-powered electric SUV; now titled Mustang Mach-E.
