Georg Huber, born in south Bavaria in 1961, attended a vocational school and finished his training as a car mechanic. After working as a craftsman for some years he attended a studio of graphic arts in Munich. His fascination with comics and art posters began in his teenage years. “I was crazy about airbrush art and record covers especially the ones of the 1970’s Supergroup YES.” At the beginning of the 1980s, he gave up the job he had been trained for and devoted all his energies to his real passion: working with colors and paint. On his numerous trips to Arizona, Nevada, and California in the west of the United States, he realized that there was a different approach to arts here; and there seemed to be a lot more possibilities. For Georg the inspiration was everywhere.
