She believes that furniture often outlasts trends, and thus prefers crafting a mood that reflects the kind of space in question. “Various elements have to fit harmoniously together to create an atmosphere that looks authentic as a whole,’’ says Seetu Kohli. For Seetu Kohli, sustainability, conservation and preservation are of utmost importance. Fittingly, the brand’s booth at the AD Design Show featured a “Save The Forest” theme. The brand exhibited several iconic global brands that shared similar ethos connected to environmental consciousness, and it used natural materials and ambient sounds to further its message. Through every exhibit— whether it was the pierced tree installation near the Fendi Casa furniture exhibit or the Ralph Lauren Home corner flooring which was made of all-natural glass and embellished with plants and flowers—the message was clear; that it is time to become more environment conscious while designing our spaces.
