The credit goes to Geoffrey Hinton, a legendary computer scientist whose relentless pursuit of AI breakthroughs is the reason for such a revolutionized tech landscape. No wonder that these remarkable achievements in the tech field earned this BritishCanadian tech wizard the title ‘The Godfather of AI’.
Coming from a family of scientists, Geoffrey Hinton was born in Wimbledon on 6 December 1947. Educated at King’s College, Cambridge, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Experimental Psychology, and later, was awarded a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh.
