Pink Wig Parade saved with new organisers set to run the popular charity event

FALMOUTH'S charity Pink Wig Parade will be returning in 2025 after fears over the event's future were resolved.
It will now be organised by the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity and the Falmouth Town Team.
The annual parade and evening celebration raise funds for the county's dedicated breast cancer care facility, the Mermaid Centre at the Royal cornwall Hospital in Truro, and attract more than 1,000 supporters.
It was announced in February that after 15 years the event would no longer be taking place.
However, new organisers came forward and more than 1,000 women are once again expected to take part and transform the town's streets into a sea of pink.
