Environmental activist loves scoring deals at second-hand bookstores

Who: Woo Qiyun, 27, is better known as the environmental activist behind the Instagram account @theweirdandwild.
She was most recently the official content creator for the Singapore Pavilion at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan, which ended on Nov 22.
On various channels including Instagram, LinkedIn and Substack, she creates explainers of technical topics such as weather phenomena, climate finance and energy.
She is also not averse to sharing the latest environment-themed video games.
"I picked up this book Cranky Uncle Vs Climate Change: How To Understand And Respond To Climate Science Deniers (2020) at a second-hand bookstore Chicago and instantly gravitated to its use of visuals.
