Oppn, NDA allies must expose SIR conspiracy, asserts Akhilesh Yadav

Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav has appealed to all Opposition parties, and even to all NDA allies, to unite to expose the BJP's 'grand conspiracy' to delete votes of genuine electors through the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in the country.

"The BJP will first destroy those parties that consider them their ally. Therefore, we appeal to every citizen of our country to abandon all work and stop the SIR fraud," he cautioned the NDA alliance in a statement on Friday.

Yadav, calling the SIR a fraud on democracy, said: "The public should be aware, today votes are being cut; tomorrow, names will be removed from farms, land, houses, ration cards, caste, and reservations, and then they will reach to the accounts and lockers of the middle class. This is a huge conspiracy against the countrymen, which will lead to a situation worse than British slavery. This is the time to wake up and save every vote," he warned.
