The mission of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba began taking shape in the early 1950s.

BABA'S VISION IS TO REACH MORE PEOPLE, GEOGRAPHIES

The seeds sown more than seven decades ago have grown into a deep-rooted, strong movement of human values-based service projects that transform lives and benefit all sections of society.

As we step into the centenary year of the birth of the Avatar, Bhagawan Baba's mission and vision have not only expanded to newer areas and geographies but also leverage technology for wider reach.

Bhagawan Baba always emphasized building a strong society through the integrated development of youth. The programmes undertaken by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations also focus on sustainability, inclusivity, and youth empowerment.

The Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust has partnered with the Andhra Pradesh government to provide Ragi Malt (finger millet) as a breakfast drink to school students. It supplies ragi flour and jaggery powder for the programme, which covers 33 lakh (3.3 million) students from 44,392 schools across the 26 districts of Andhra Pradesh.

The "Sri Sathya Sai Prematharu" initiative aims to plant 10 million trees over the next couple of years as part of the centenary celebrations. This vibrant activity is being carried out even in rural areas.
