A PLYMOUTH pub has closed after its landlord stepped down, following an impressive 25 years at the helm.
However, The Vine, in Stonehouse, is set to reopen with new owners once a revamp is completed.
Craig Brian, a former Royal Marine, stepped down after running the pub for quarter of a decade. The 70-year-old said he thinks he could have been the longest-serving pub landlord in Plymouth.
Mr Brian has sold the freehouse to a Plymouth family who are already well known in the community. Warren and Lucy Kressinger-Dunn, who have bought the property, also own the nearby Victualling Office Tavern, which is managed by their son, 25-year-old Owen Kressinger-Dunn.
