A PLYMOUTH man has committed to 100 press-ups a day in May in order to raise money for a terminally ill cousin.
Hayley Adams was diagnosed with stage four terminal cancer in her lungs and bones at the end of last year. Lee Withey, originally from London but now living in Plymstock, is hoping to raise as much as he can for Cancer Research UK.
Lee has only just returned to work after suffering a dislocated shoulder but is desperate to raise awareness and funds to support his cousin.
Hayley was first flagged by doctors as needing to be monitored in 2016 when she underwent tests to become a kidney donor for her mother. Doctors found nodules on her lungs and, when they noticed changes three years later, they took a biopsy, which showed the issue to be benign.
