STRIKER DELIGHTED TO PEN THREE-YEAR DEAL AT ARGYLE
STUART JAMES
HARDIE IS STAYING!

PLYMOUTH Argyle have received their first significant boost of the summer with the news that striker Ryan Hardie has penned a new three-year deal at Home Park.

The 26-year-old has been a massive success ever since he first arrived at the club from Blackpool, scoring seven goals in a 13-game loan spell from January 2020. A second six-month loan stint followed immediately after when Hardie struck four times in 30 appearances. But despite that drop in goalscoring form, the club made the deal permanent in the January transfer window of 2021.

Since then, Hardie has gone on to score 38 goals in 120 appearances in all competitions and he was top scorer with 17 goals as the Pilgrims won League One this season and were promoted to the Championship.
