Woman, 103, becomes sensation on TikTok with makeup tips

At 103 years old, dispensing pearls of wisdom is second nature to Joan Partridge. But even she was surprised when a video of her applying rouge found an appreciative audience of almost 200,000 on TikTok.

"I do my makeup every day, every morning. I think it is your confidence," said Partridge, who is the eldest resident at Millcroft care home in Redditch.

Since the video went viral, Partridge caught the attention of a cosmetics company which was keen to collaborate with the 103-year-old.

Collection Cosmetics sent over a box full of makeup products in a collaboration between the brand and new influencer. Partridge has shared these products with the other residents at Millcroft, where she provides tips on makeup, a hobby she has partaken in since she was 13 years old.
