The Tihar Central Jail authorities on Wednesday clarified that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was lodged in Jail No. 2 of the prison complex on April 1 following his judicial remand in the Delhi liquor policy case, has not lost any weight since his incarceration.
A statement from the jail authorities said: “On arrival on 01.04.2024, Arvind Kejriwal was examined by two doctors and all vitals were normal. Also, his weight is constant at 65 kg since arrival to jail and to date. Homecooked food is being provided as per court order. His vital statistics are normal.”
