Eight Indians were among 10 people who were confirmed dead early Thursday when a fire broke out in a garage below a cramped living quarters that housed foreign workers in the Maldivian capital, Malé, an Indian High Commission official said.
EIGHT INDIANS AMONG 10 KILLED IN MALDIVES FIRE

The fire broke out in the M Nirufehi area near Maaveyo Mosque around 12.30am, according to news portal SunOnline international confirmed dead, of which eight were Indian nationals.
