ChatGPT Go to go free for a year *

OpenAI on Tuesday announced that it will offer its subscription plan 'ChatGPT Go' free for one year to all users in India who sign up during a limited-time promotional period starting November 4. Conditions apply, though. There was no clarity on how long this period would last.
The offer will give Indian users free access for 12 months to advanced reasoning with GPT-5, along with features such as limited messages and uploads, limited and slower image generation, limited deep research, and limited memory and context.
Normally priced at ₹399 per month or ₹4,788 for a 12-month plan, ChatGPT Go provides extended access to OpenAl's flagship GPT-5 model, image generation, file uploads, and advanced data analysis.
Existing ChatGPT Go subscribers in India will also be eligible for the free 12-month promotion.
