CHAN: HAPPY THAT HIS TEAM STUCK TO THE GAMEPLAN
Bafana Bafana's African Nations Championship (CHAN) head coach Molefi Ntseki praised his team for sticking to the game plan after they beat Malawi 2-0 at Loftus Stadium on Sunday to qualify for the CHAN finals for the first time in 11 years.
Bafana had a 1-0 deficit to overturn from the first leg and took a 12th minute lead as Victor Letsoalo smashed home a fine finish to level the tie on aggregate.
And in the 87th minute, Maema struck home the winner after a bit of a goalmouth scramble, to spark wild celebrations in the South African camp.
