During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi emphasised India’s status as one of the most favoured destinations for foreign investments globally. He extended an invitation to AustralianSuper, encouraging them to explore potential partnerships with India. Schroder, responsible for the strategic development of the fund and advisory services to the board, commended the Prime Minister, stating, “Ours was the most impressive meeting. The Prime Minister is the most impressive person who understands business and who is very encouraging as well.” Schroder further mentioned AustralianSuper’s positive experiences investing in India, particularly in the Indian infrastructure fund.
