From player to coach: Now the whole life is dedicated to cricket

It is often said that if hard work is done silently, then success makes noise. Sunil Sheoran of Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan has done something similar. He fulfilled his dream with his hard work and struggle. Today this young Sunil Sheoran has made his mark in the country. Sunilis writing the story of success as a level-2 coach and strength and conditioning coach of BCCI.

Sunil Sheoran was born in Ratanpura, a small village in Gram Panchayat Dabdi of Bhadra tehsil of Hanumangarh district. Sunil was interested in cricket since childhood, but due to lack of cricket facilities in the village, he started playing basketball due to the presence of a basketball court in the school and good height and represented the Hanumangarh team at the school state level in basketball.

FULFILLED FATHER’S DREAM

Along with basketball, Sunil’s performance in cricket was also good. His father Dr. Ramkishan Sheoran wanted his son Sunil to become a good cricketer and earn fame. To fulfill his father’s dream, Sunil reached Chandigarh in 2005 to give basketball trials in SAI and found out that there was bowling trial in international player Robin Singh's cricket academy. He gave a speed trial for fast bowler in the academy in which he was selected in the top-5. After being selected in the top-5out of about a thousand youth, Sunil decided that he would fulfill his father’s dream with full hard work and dedication. Then what, this young player stepped on the difficult path of Jaipur to prove himself.
