Brain tumour MRI scan shows a full recovery
April 13, 2025
|Sunday People
DAVINA McCall can't hide her joy as she celebrates being given the all-clear after her brain tumour.
The TV presenter smiled broadly alongside partner Michael Douglas as she gave an update on her final MRI assessment, five months after surgery.
Davina, 57, had a six-hour operation in November to remove a colloid cyst - a rare, fluid-filled benign tumour.
Sharing her delight, a beaming Davina thanked her family and her surgeon for helping her recovery.
Speaking alongside celebrity hairdresser Michael, 47, in a video post on social media, she said: "We thought we'd post a final brain operation update. Last week I had my final MRI.
"I was a bit nervous about it as I knew that, if any of it was left, it would grow back and I would have to go through the whole thing again - which I was prepared to do.
"I kind of mentally prepared for that... but it was clear."
