Gig stopped twice over safety concerns

A GIG in Cardiff was stopped twice by the band after safety concerns were raised in the crowd. English indie rock band Wet Leg performed at Cardiff Students’ Union on Friday as part of their UK 2025/26 tour to a packed crowd at the Cathays venue.

But during their set lead singer Rhian Teasdale halted the show after reports were made of someone allegedly attempting to take inappropriate videos of people in the audience.
After the singer called out the alleged offender, security escorted a man out of the premises as the audience repeatedly chanted: “Out, out.”
