Final Tory switches to Reform UK

Sian Davidson, who represents Daresbury, Moore and Sandymoor on Halton Borough Council, has ditched the blue rosette in favour of turquoise, making her the first Reform councillor in the borough.

The defection also marks the end of the Conservative party's presence on Halton Council, which had gradually ebbed away since 2010.

In a statement Ms Davidson (pictured) said: “Leaving the Conservative Party and defecting to Reform UK has not been an easy decision to make but one which I have taken the time to think and reflect upon alongside speaking to many of my constituents.”
