Celia lets rip with the f-word that I was always urged in childhood to keep a firm lid on

HERE do you stand, dear reader, on children and the f-word?
-
Now, I know what you're thinking and you'd be wrong.
I’m being mischievous when I say “the” because the one I have I mind rhymes with “art’
We all do it, of course. Well, I say that but there’s never been an exhaustive survey.
Still, what's the polite term?
My mother was a genteel soul and my siblings and I grew up being urged to say “poop”: not that it was a subject of discussion ever encouraged.
We could get away with “trump”, long before some clown in the White House made it his own. But the f-word? Never!
Ever the rebel, I've exercised my freedom countless times in adulthood, while mindful of the sensitivities of others.
