A GRANDAD says he ‘can’t stop grinning’ after having his cigarette-yellowed teeth replaced with a new set of implants in Turkey.
Paul Pilkington, 70, never used to smile because he was so self-conscious of his rotting teeth, thanks to 50 years of smoking.
The grandfather-of-18, originally of Bolton, quit the habit – but was left with several missing and rotting teeth.
So he jetted off to Turkey to have his remaining ones removed and a full set of implants for £7,000.
The retired entertainments manager said: “I worked in entertainment all my life and was always self-conscious being in front of people every day. I never used to smile properly because I didn’t want people to see my teeth.
