A MAN accused of kidnapping and murdering a dad has dramatically implicated two of his co-accused in the offences.
Alan Jaf is on trial accused of killing 37-year-old Christopher Hughes. The dad was found hacked to death by at least 90 sharp-force injuries after allegedly being hunted by a vigilante gang who suspected him of rape.
Jaf, 52, of Ridyard Street, Worsley Hall, Wigan, is the first of the defendants to give evidence during the trial at Liverpool Crown Court which began just over a month ago. The jury was previously told how Mr Hughes had been hunted down, forced into the boot of a blue Audi and driven to a quiet country lane near the M58 in Skelmersdale.
He was then viciously attacked with weapons including a machete. A vigilante gang had planned to bury Mr Hughes, who they thought had raped a teenage girl behind Ridyard Street, Worsley Hall, Wigan, the court had heard.
