'Gundogan is a name synonymous with success at Manchester City'

ILKAY Gundogan has 'cemented his place in the history of Manchester City,' according to Blues sporting director Hugo Viana.
The Blues have confirmed the departure of Gundogan to Galatasaray.
The midfielder has departed to join the Turkish champions on a free transfer after it was agreed that he could leave despite activating a 12-month extension earlier in the year.
The 34-year-old only returned to City last summer from Barcelona and earned his new contract when he played a set number of matches last term. But he has yet to feature in the Premier League this season and was left out of the matchday squad for the Etihad defeat to Tottenham.
“Ilkay Gundogan is a name synonymous with success at Manchester City,” said Viana.
