'The pain doesn't fade but neither does the resolve' in 15yr fight for Michaela justice

JOHN McAreavey has spoken out on getting justice for late wife Michaela nearly 15 years after her death.

Co Tyrone teacher Michaela, the daughter of All-Ireland Senior Football Championship-winning manager Mickey Harte, was murdered on January 10, 2011 -10 days after her wedding while honeymooning in Mauritius with John.

Since then, no-one has ever been convicted of her murder and her family has now asked the Government to assist in getting the Mauritian authorities to finally find justice for Michaela.

John met with Tanaiste Simon Harris and revealed that he is still fighting for accountability.

He wrote online: "I met with An Tanaiste to discuss what more can be done to hold the Mauritian authorities to their promise of delivering justice for Michaela.

"It's approaching 15 years since Michaela was murdered on our honeymoon - 15 years without accountability,
