Mary Kom on divorce from Karung Onkholer: Can't afford to grieve

Six-time world boxing champion, Olympic bronze medallist, and former MP Mary Kom opened up about what she calls “the darkest phase of my life”, marked by a painful divorce from Karung Onkholer aka Onler after a 20-year marriage.

"Things were fine till I was competing and had very little involvement in my finances. But when I got injured before the 2022 Commonwealth Games, I realised I was living a lie," she said, adding that she lost trust in Karung.
They got divorced in 2023.
