Mulund stn to T ward office along MG Road

The first sight that greeted us outside the crowded Mulund railway station was commuters using the road by default to find their last mile rides, as the footpath had been hijacked by street vendors.

No one seemed bothered by it—it was just another day.

People have to walk a few meters, as vehicles cannot enter this road connecting the station to the main Mahatma Gandhi (MG) Road, even though it has two lanes. Looking at the overcrowding, Vedant Mhatre, observed that this thoroughfare be designated as 'pedestrian only' zone, after vendors are given a designated spot for inclusive urban mobility.
