More than 420 million enumeration forms have been distributed to electors as part of the phase 2 of the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in nine states and three Union territories, the Election Commission said on Thursday, even as opposition-ruled states continued to target the poll body over the ongoing exercise.

An EC bulletin said that 82.71% of the 509.9 million electors have been covered so far across these states and UTs.
