CHELSEA 3
MAN CITY 2
SAM KERR was Chelsea's match-winner as Emma Hayes scotched speculation about her future after clinching a league and FA Cup Double.
Aussie striker Kerr took her season's tally in all competitions to 28 with a poacher's goal from six inches at Wembley Stadium - and a shot that took a wicked deflection in extra time.
It takes the number of major trophies won by Hayes to 11, with four Doubles in eight seasons, as the Blues retained the cup - and they have now won five of the last six domestic trophies.
And there was also some revenge over Manchester City, who handed Chelsea a rare defeat in the Continental League Cup final in March.
In a thrilling contest, the excellent Lauren Hemp levelled after Kerr's opener.
