A SCHOOLBOY claimed yesterday he was "rammed" off his bike by a pursuing police car in a case of mistaken identity.
The boy, who was 15 at the time, told a court an officer then got out of the vehicle and said: "It's not him.
Constable Kayleigh Simpson, 33, is on trial accused of dangerous driving and injuring the boy.
The teenager claims she "rammed him from behind" on a cycle path in Glenrothes, Fife.
A SCHOOLBOY has told of the terrifying moment he was rammed off his bike by a police car in a case of mistaken identity.
The boy was giving evidence at the trial of Constable Kayleigh Simpson, who is charged with dangerous driving by hitting the boy in her patrol car on a cycle path.
The youth, who was 15 at the time, was riding home on his bike when he became aware of a police car following him.
