TALENTED Cameron CarterVickers reckons Celtic are celebrating a Double because they played it cool.

The Parkhead defender produced another superb display at the back as the champions added the Scottish Cup to their Premiership title.

Carter-Vickers and Liam Scales were able to keep it bolted in the backline to lay a platform for Adam Idah's winner.

It was a day where Brendan Rodgers' team had to show grit and desire to get over the line.

As their football faded in the second period, CarterVickers and his colleagues needed to dig deep to stay in the game before winning it.

In many ways, it encapsulated his own and the team's campaign where issues were resolved and problems solved to get the job done in the end.

For Carter-Vickers, this latest precious moment at Celtic helped bring a glorious finale to a term that didn't always go to his planned script.

Having missed last year's Final to undergo knee surgery, the defender was beset by issues through the opening weeks of the season upon his comeback.

Breaking down in just the second league game of the season at Aberdeen, he was absent for almost two months.

Having missed the first Old Firm derby of the season at Ibrox, Carter-Vickers was also ruled out of the second at New Year having sustained another setback in the previous match at Dundee.
