A SHANDY FOR ANDY

FORMER teammates and pals of Andy Goram shared memories of the Ibrox keeper over drinks after he lost his cancer battle.

Pub owner Stan Gordon said: We wanted to be together as we tried to process what had happened."

Goram's son Danny also paid tribute to his dad - nicknamed The Goalie with a visit to Ibrox yesterday.

IBROX stars teamed up to share memories of Andy Goram in one of his favourite pubs as they "tried to process" his death aged 58.

The former players, along with loved ones of the legendary goalkeeper, raised a glass to him after he lost his battle with cancer.

Goram died at St Andrew's Hospice in Airdrie on Saturday, weeks after being told he was terminally ill.

Former Gers team-mates John "Bomber" Brown, Charlie Miller and Gordon Durie joined his son Danny and close friends Stan Gordon and Baz Gilmour to raise a glass in his memory.

Ex-Rangers defender Marvin Andrews also joined the group at the Stonefield Tavern in Blantyre, Lanarkshire.
