THE Tories' plan to axe national insurance will be unlucky for some, Jonathan Ashworth told players at a bingo hall.
Labour's campaign supremo said that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's £46billion aim to scrap employee national insurance is unfunded.
He added: "The only way in which he can deliver that is by cutting the state pension. Pensioners want to know where the money is coming from. It's either cutting the state pension by £96 per week or it is taxing pensioners more."
