Two in serious condition after bolting

TERRIFIED military horses injured after they bolted in Central London have had life-saving surgery.

Two animals, Vida and Quaker, are in a serious condition. They were among four Household Cavalry mounts that went on a six-mile stampede on Wednesday.

Falling rubble caused them to flee a routine exercise in Belgravia, injuring four people.

Vida, a grey, was seen soaked in blood as it galloped alongside a black horse called Trojan.
