DO NOT even think about writing off Harry Kane's chances of winning his first-ever trophy this season.

Kane is still in with a big chance of writing his own fairytale as his 43rd goal of the season kept Bayern Munich on course to reach the Champions League final at Wembley on June 1.

What a story that would be for the England captain to win the European Cup and the first piece of silverware in his career at his own national stadium.

It was never going to be easy. The tie is so evenly poised because two-goal Vinicius Junior (inset) scored a late penalty to level it up ahead of next week's second leg.

But Bayern almost swept away Real Madrid amid the noise of the 75,000 sell-out crowd in the Allianz Arena in a fabulous match-up between two of European football's superpowers.
