NUNO SEES RED AT 'INJUSTICE'

NUNO ESPIRITO SANTO ranted against refereeing standards and asked if there was a conspiracy to relegate his Nottingham Forest side.

The furious Portuguese manager said: “Please someone tell me what is going on? Someone wants to put us down?”

Forest received an apology from the PGMOL last week after Paul Tierney’s blunder led to Liverpool’s winner in the ninth minute of stoppage-time.

It followed the December dismissal of Willy Boly against Bournemouth and other howlers.

Yesterday Jakub Moder’s lunge with his studs into Neco Williams’ ankle led to only a booking from Michael Salisbury. VAR official Craig Pawson took no other action after reviewing the call.

Romeo, Romeo...why art thou bothering, Romeo?

A VOGUISH young movie star, onstage cameras, microphones placed conspicuously around a bare stage as well as taped to the actors' cheeks, smoke, blinding flashes of white light, a continuous background hum as of a trapped hornet - how quickly the trademarks of a Jamie Lloyd production have become clichéd and predictable.
