ASON Knight and Cam Pring have given Gerhard Struber a “really good feeling” that they could start against Millwall, the Bristol City boss has confirmed, while both Josh Stokes and Harry Cornick have returned to training ahead of the Lions’ visit to Ashton Gate.

The Robins welcome Alex Neil's side to BS3 tomorrow as they look to build on their impressive win over Portsmouth last time out. After 18 matches, the Lions find themselves third in the Sky Bet Championship, two points and three places ahead of City, in sixth.

City’s meeting with Millwall marks the start of a four-game run leading up to the festive period, during which the Robins will play each of the top three and Leicester City, who were competing in the Premier League last season. While such a spell presents a challenge, it appears the Robins’ injury situation is improving.

Cornick and Stokes have been involved in first-team training this week, while Knight, who was left out of the squad that beat Portsmouth last weekend, and Pring, who has been included in each of City’s last three matchday squads, are continuing to build their fitness having returned to the fold in recent weeks.

“It looks a lot better,’ Struber said when asked about the condition of his squad in his pre-match press conference.
