Klatham moves to dissolve People’s Party

The Klatham Party will petition the Election Commission (EC) to dissolve the People’s Party (PP) over allegations it appointed a student as an MP's aide and funnelled the aide’s salary into party memberships.
Phai Lik, Klatham Party MP for Kamphaeng Phet, said yesterday that he is preparing to file a petition with the EC seeking the dissolution of the PP.
The petition accused the PP of appointing a Matthayom 4 (Grade 10) student as an MP’s aide and allegedly using the aide’s salary to cover membership registration fees for individuals joining the party.
Mr Phaialso recently addressed the issue via a Facebook post, arguing that falsely presenting a student as qualified for the position of an MP’s aide is unacceptable.
