The panther made its debut at Cartier way back in 1914 when the animal's spots decorated a women's watch. Later on in 1960, the Maison released a gold lamé fabric pouch with sapphire and diamond panther heads positioned at the ends of a gold and platinum closure system. Fast forward to 2022, the house presents its latest creation inspired by the big cat: the Panthère de Cartier chain bag.
