HE LOOKS spitting mad, as though the dog just stole his supper and he can’t decide what to do about it. But Fedya the cat isn’t actually cross – he’s just cross-eyed.
The four-year-old Russian blue has captured hearts across the globe with his close-together peepers and wide cheeks, which give him a permanently startled expression.
The reason for his unusual look is a total mystery but his owner, Natalya Zhdanova, says she suspects it could be a genetic deformity or that he might have suffered an injury before he arrived on her doorstep as a stray kitten.
Either way, his hilarious, meme-able looks have cat-apulted him to fame, turning him into an internet phenomenon with over a million TikTok followers.
Natalya (42) was initially reluctant to share pictures and videos of her funny feline but friends persuaded her that the world needed to see him – and now she loves witnessing how much joy he brings to people’s lives.
