1 DISCOVERED DOING THE CANCAN
Born on November 21, 1945 to a musician father and dance instructor mother, Goldie began dancing at the age of three. As a teen, she performed as a ballerina and later a go-go dancer. She struggled to make ends meet and, says a source, “Sometimes she didn’t have enough money for the bus ride home.” She got her break when she was spotted in a cancan line-up in LA and offered a role in a TV comedy show.
