DAREDEVIL Helen Skelton is pushing things to the limits even by her standards as she faces the possibility of going into labour on live TV.

The mum of two is eight months pregnant and this week hosts Channel 5's Winter On The Farm.

It runs from Monday to Thursday and a nervous Helen jokingly said she insisted on her favourite vet being on hand to deliver her baby in case of a telly emergency.

The Countryfile host and former Blue Peter star said: “Both my sons were early so I certainly don't want to be giving birth live on TV but it's a risk I'm willing to take.

“If you are going to be going into labour on a farm at least you know you are in safe hands. The farmers have plenty of experience delivering babies.

"I know there's a big difference between babies and lambs but it's all the same principle. Although I did ask for Shona the vet to be in my rider!
