Two more persons died from the disease on Sunday, taking the death toll to 51. One was a 50-year-old man from Raichur who returned from Maharashtra. was in quarantine and was diagnosed with Severe Acute Respiratory Illness, Pneumonia, Sepsis and respiratory failure. He was admitted on May 28 and died the next day. The second fatality was a 75-year-old man from a containment zone in Bidar, having symptoms of fever, breathlessness and hypertension. He was admitted on May 18 in a private hospital and died on May 29 at his residence, after which his test came positive. Bengaluru’s own score has crossed the 350-mark seeing 357 cases.
