PLYMOUTH’S public health boss has urged people to be extremely cautious about the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions – warning there is still a lot of cases in the city.
Dr Ruth Harrell, Plymouth’s Director of Public Health said there were more than 130 patients in Derriford Hospital with Covid-19, and urged people to keep up efforts to stop the virus.
Her message comes after the Government announced the imminent end of Plan B restrictions, including the mandatory wearing of masks from next Thursday and the end of advice to work from home.
