Throughout the HBO Max show, the stars spoke gushingly during the 102-minute special about the movies that made them into multi-millionaire global stars.

But, apart from the odd fleeting glimpse, the woman behind their fame and fortune, JK Rowling, is more elusive than Voldemort victory.

The only time the author appears is in brief clips from an interview she gave back in 2019.

Though the show's American producers have not given any official explanation, it would not take Albus Dumbledore to figure a possible reason why.

Efforts to "cancel" her have been unrelenting with thousands of rape and murder threats made towards her on social media.
