THE chief suspect in the brutal murder of pensioner Christopher Hall is currently behind bars.
He was arrested for breaching his bail conditions several days ago after being identified on CCTV outside the victim's home around the time of the attack in Balbriggan, Co Dublin.
It is understood the suspect is a local man in his 20s. He was out on bail for other minor offences.
He appeared before a court and was immediately returned to prison.
The murder of Mr Hall, who was 65, caused immense anger and fury in Balbriggan. He was seen as a very soft target.
