B*WITCHED star Keavy Lynch has told how she was wearing goggles, gloves and a protective mask when she found out she was having twins.
The singer, who shared her pregnancy news with an adorable scan picture last week, revealed Covid-19 restrictions meant husband of three years Nathaniel Comer couldn’t be with her with for the milestone moment.
And she revealed she had to pass him the scan image through the window of their car to prove she wasn’t joking.
Keavy, 41, who lives in London, said: “Oh my gosh, it was such a surprise. For a start, I’m sure it’s fairly rare that twins have twins and we just weren’t expecting it.
“Then, of course, I was on my own for the scan. I was just sitting there watching the monitor and I thought, ‘Hold on, I’m pretty sure there are two things I’m looking at there. Two little heartbeats.
“I asked the sonographer and she told me I was right and straight away I went through just about every emotion.
“I laughed, I cried, and I’ll be honest, I swore a bit too. It was strange learning about it on my own but it was amazing.”
And with Nathaniel outside the hospital in the car with the couple’s two-year-old daughter Freya, Keavy, who says a string of B*witched gigs were cancelled because of the pandemic, was desperate to get back outside to share the news.
She added: “Because there were two babies to check, everything was taking twice as long.
