The not-so-hotspots made the Government’s “green list” of safe countries to travel to in the next few months, alongside Brunei and Iceland.
All in, just 12 countries can be visited without having to self-isolate on return.
The inclusion of Portugal, Gibraltar and Israel brought some hope of sun, sea and sand from May 17.
